Cautions
Before using your VR system, always use our product in the environments that are safe and familiar to you!
Place of use
The device is specifically designed for indoor use. Observe your surroundings and choose a suitable play area before starting to use the device.
Clear any obstacles before using the device. Ensure that the play area is spacious enough to prevent collision with other people, objects, furniture, ceiling fans, or other items. Please also make sure to avoid areas which may cause you to lose balance during playing such as stairs, open doorways, or windows. Failure to do so may cause property damage or serious injury.
While with headset on, avoid facing blank walls, transparent glass and mirrors closely which may cause issues with the tracking system.
Please make sure your environment is not too dark or not too bright for best experience.
For safety reasons, we recommend sitting on a swivel chair or standing still to experience.
When you are standing or sitting in the virtual world, it is not always related to whether you are actually standing or sitting in the real world. When you are seated in the virtual world, you will notice that your virtual legs appear and your view angle is adjusted accordingly.

*Thoughtful tips

Before using the device, make sure you are always in the center of the play area, i.e. you should reserve minimum space, 3 meter x 3 meter square, away from potential hazards (such as furniture or wall).

See-through mode* will switch from virtual to real world view automatically when you venture beyond the Guardian area. *See-through mode: uses the front-facing optical sensors embedded on your headset to display real world surroundings within the headset.

Create Account
Connect your headset to the power outlet through USB cable. When the LED indicator turns green, it is fully charged.
Turn on your phone, download and install XRSPACE App, and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with the device. Then you will have the best experience:

Open XRSPACE App.

"Sign in" or "Create account" at the bottom of the screen and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.
-
Create account: Enter your email account, password, nickname, username and date of birth on XRSPACE App. Next, go to your Inbox to find the verification email and click the link for the account verification. Then, sign in to your account.

Sign in: Enter your email address and password.

Select a country, and create your account profile.
*Note: To install the XRSPACE App, you must meet the necessary requirements:

iOS: For Apple iOS 13.0 or above, go to Apple Store to download and install it.

Android: For Android 7.0 or above, go to Google Play to download and install it.

Create Avatar
Create your own avatar for your account and show your charming characters.
Create your avatar through XRSPACE App on your phone:

Select “Start” to create your avatar.
-
Select “Gender of avatar” and "Choose avatar generation" , then tap “Next”.
-
Use editing tools (default) or take a photo to generate a new avatar for you and customize it based on your preference.

Click "Upload" to finish setting up your avatar.

Connect to Wi-Fi and Pair the Headset
For more functions and features, your headset must be connected to Wi-Fi. Please select Wi-Fi during the setup process.
Configure Wi-Fi settings through XRSPACE App on phone:

Click "Pair new headset" on XRSPACE App.
-
Enter the six-digit number displayed on your device into XRSPACE App on phone.
-
Choose Wi-Fi you want, and enter the password.
-
Choose a "Language".
*Note:

If you encounter any problem when using or configuring your device, make sure Wi-Fi signal is good. You can try to move to another location when the Wi-Fi signal is weak.

Configure Wi-Fi settings on XRSPACE MANOVA world

Turn on your headset and go to XRSPACE MANOVA world.

Select "Settings" in the Main Menu.

Select "Wi-Fi network" in the sidebar.

Choose Wi-Fi you want and enter the password. (*You can connect to a hotspot on your mobile device for the network connection.)

Pair the Controller
You can navigate in XRSPACE MANOVA world with your hands or controller.
Pair the controller with the headset:

Open your XRSPACE App.
-
Click "Connect headset, controller, tracker" on the setting page.
-
Press and hold the "Menu" button and "Action" button on the controller at the same time. You will see the LED indicator on the controller starting to flash until it turns on and the screen on the phone shows paired.
*Note: Before you begin, make sure your controller has been installed with the supplied batteries and the lanyard has been tied to your controller.

When you use for the first time, remove the protective films on the tracking modules and lens of your headset. This makes your screen clear and improves the user experience.

When you use hand gestures, the optimal detection area is 70 degrees vertical and 120 degrees horizontal.

The recommended optimal distance from your hands to the device is between 30 cm and 80 cm.

You can get the best experience with easy and natural hand gestures. Just hold your index finger up naturally and avoid dropping your finger too much.

Explore the Map
The world of XRSPACE MANOVA is composed of many public spaces and private spaces.
From the user’s exclusive virtual home, private cinema, to social places for meeting new friends, and even special spaces tailored for partners, all these spaces can be explored through the Map in the Main Menu.
Click the "Map" button in the Main Menu to explore the world of XRSPACE MANOVA.
Under the main category “Map” at the top of the screen, it contains various public space subcategories. Those spaces are open to all XRSPACE users, and you can enter freely without being invited.
Click the information icon next to each subcategory name, you will see what spaces are available under this subcategory.
Click the thumbnail to go to that space.
You can switch between different subcategories of the public space list through the "Navigation" field on the left side of the screen.
Click "My Spaces" at the top of the screen to see all available private spaces.
Only you can enter these private spaces. If you want other users to get in, you need to invite them by creating events or by friend lists. Similarly, only when you are invited can you enter the private space of others.
*Note: Currently, the dressing room is not allowed to invite others to enter.
If you want to return to your home, please click the house icon in the upper right corner of the homepage of Map.
Click the Navigation icon in the upper right corner to view all spaces in the world.

How do I log into another account?
If you want to log into another account, you have to reset the headset and re-pair.
Please find the following steps:

Reset your headset to its factory settings simultaneously.

Open XRSPACE App on your phone, and tap "Sign in" to the account you want to use. If you don't see "Sign in", tap "Log out" on setting page.

Re-pair with the headset.

Wi-Fi network is not showing up?
Here are some solutions to try if you don’t see your wireless network in the list on XRSPACE App:

Make sure your network is available and working properly on another device.

Try to move to another location when the Wi-Fi signal is weak.

Restart your wireless device, and try to search it again.

Restart XRSPACE App, and try to search it again.

Try to connect your headset to another wireless network.
If you can’t see your wireless network on any device, the problem may be with the network itself, contact your internet service provider for the help.

You can create your “Username” and “Nickname” in XRSPACE MANOVA world:

My microphone doesn't work
If you are having trouble with microphone features, the following info may help you troubleshoot and resolve issues.
1. Turn on and Increase the volume of your microphoneOpen the Main Menu> Settings> General> Microphone is on.
Open the Main Menu> Settings> Sound> Increase the volume of Voice.
*Speak into your microphone while checking to make sure your settings work.
2. Make sure “speech recognition” works
When you speak into the microphone, Speech Recognition transforms your voice into text on the screen.
*If the problem still persists after following the above steps, it might be time to reset their HMD to its factory settings and re-test the microphone again. -
What should I do if the laser beam of the controller is pointing to ceiling instead of to the front?
Long press the "Action" button for 3 seconds to perform calibration when the controller mismatch with the control direction.

How do I update the Headset to the newest system version?
When a new version is available for download, the system will automatically update it when you turn on your headset.
To ensure your system can automatically update it, make sure the following is met:

Make sure the FOTA update setting is turned on. (Open the "Main Menu"> "Setting"> "About"> "Auto Update OS")

Make sure your headset is sufficiently charged, turned on, and connected to Wi-Fi.

Place your headset on a flat and stable location and do not move the device or block the internal sensor.

Casting to your computer or TV screen
XRSPACE MANOVA headset support Miracast that you can connect to another computer’s monitor wirelessly or mirror to TV, use it as your second monitor.
Casting to a Windows PC
1. Turn on "Projecting to this PC" on your computer (Settings > System > Projecting to this PC, and enable the function to connect to it).
2. Put on your headset and cast your HMD to PC (Main Menu> Settings> General> Cast, choose the PC you want to cast) .
Casting your HMD on your TV
1. Make sure that your smart TV supports Miracast and enabled. Also, you can use a wireless display adapter for casting. ( i.e. Microsoft wireless display adapter, AnyCast or TV stick )
2. Put on your headset and cast your HMD to your TV. ( Main Menu> Settings> General> Cast, choose the projection device you want to cast )
*If you cannot search your projection device, please reset your TV stick and try it again. Contact the original retailer for more information.

Share your presentation with others.
Please upload your file to cloud storage (i.e. Google Drive, OneDrive...etc.) to share it.

Go to Private Space (i.e. Meeting Room or Classroom).
-
Open "Quick Access" > Tap "Invite" to share it with friends.

Open "Main Menu"> Click "File" or "Browser"> Open your presentation and click "Share Screen" in the upper right corner. Make sure your file has already been saved to the cloud and an invitation message is accepted from your friend as well.
*Note: You are able to share the screen for 20 mins.

If my account is offline in XRSPACE MANOVA World.
When your internet disconnects, the account status next to people icon appears offline. You may try the following methods:

Click "People icon" next to your account, and tap "log in".

Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password to make sure you’re connected to the internet.
If your account is connected with Wi-Fi, but the account status next to people icon still appears offline.

Click "People icon" next to your account, and tap "log in".

Attempting to reconnect your account.
If your problem still persists, contact XRSPACE Support Center for assistance. -

My hand gestures cannot be detected.
The headset is built with the tracking module which is used to track your hand gestures and surroundings.
If your gestures cannot be detected, try to perform the following steps:

Check if the screen protector on the tracking module is removed.

Check if your gestures are performed within the tracking range of the headset. (The optimal detection area is 70 degrees vertical and 120 degrees horizontal.)

Press “Power” button to go to hibernation mode. And press it again to restart your headset.

To precisely track your gestures, always keep your tracking module clean.

How to request a refund for XRSPACE Online Store purchases?

Authorized Distributors: Contact your original purchase store or E-shop for the help.

XRSPACE Online Store: Free return within 7 days* while you received the items. All return items must have original tags and packaging; and has not been installed, used, or modified (i.e. your item must have in the same condition that you received it). If you have received defective product, please contact us as soon as possible and provide a photo of the defect for verification.

How long refunds take?
Once XRSPACE checked the item is still in its original condition, the refunds from XRSPACE are returned to the payment method used to make the original purchase. Refunds take different amounts of time depending on how you paid. Processing time can be affected by the card issuer and sometimes takes up to 7~14 business days.

What happened if buyer didn't pick up the parcel before the deadline?
When shipment arrival at the convenience store within 7 days, the receiver has to ready for an identity card to the designated convenience stores.
*If the recipient has not yet to convenience stores to receive the shipment more than 7 days and it will enter the return flow.

I received the product but it's dead on arrival.
Hardware product is considered DOA if it shows symptoms of a hardware failure, preventing basic operability, upon its first use out of the box.
If you believe that your product is DOA, please contact XRSPACE Online Store within 7 days of the arrived date. We will determine whether the product is DOA and offer you the other options.

Can XRSAPCE deliver internationally?
XRSPACE MANOVA only ship to Taiwan for the time being, if you are located in the other areas you may be applicable with XRSPACE Developer Project.

How long is the warranty period?
Hardware Warranty (12 Months Limited Warranty)
The hardware product is warranted against defects in materials and malfunctions for a period of 12 Months from the date of original purchase ("Warranty Period"). You cannot sell or transfer a part or all of the limited warranty to anyone else.
Important!! XRSPACE may restrict warranty service for products to the country or region where XRSPACE or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.

How do I claim on my warranty If I’ve lost the receipt or invoice?
The receipt is your proof of purchase and is required to make a claim on your warranty. If you don’t have a receipt or an invoice, and needs to make a claim, there are other ways to show proof of where you made the purchase. These include:

Install the Top Strap
How to Remove the Head Strap

Remove the face foam.

Pull the front end of the strap from above the metal rod, and remove the strap's back end.

After rotating the head strap hinge 90°, push it further to remove it.
How to Install the Strap

Align the fasteners of the strap with the fasteners on the devices.

Attached affirmatively, and rotate the strap hinge to the horizontal level to secure the strap.

Slide the front end of the strap from above the metal rod, and engage the velcro. (A: Strap's front end; B: Strap's back end)

Engage the back end of the strap's velcro together.

Install face foam back to the device.

Finish.

How long refunds take?

To review purchases you’ve made with XRSPACE account, you can see info from Apps of XRSPACE MANOVA world or find it from “Purchase history” on XRSPACE App on your phone.

Apps only can use on purchased account; it cannot be redeemed with another account. Our recommendation is logging into the account you want to use, and purchase apps.
